Indian-origin South African judge Navanethem Pillay, has been appointed the new UN High Commissioner of Human Rights.

 

The Kerala government said Friday that 837 km of national highways in the state will be widened to four-lane roads.

 

Goa is set to become the first state in India to appoint non-resident Indians (NRIs) to various state boards and corporations.
